What Is an All-in-One LED Dimmer and Driver?
An all-in-one LED dimmer and driver combines two functions that are commonly handled by separate devices: local brightness control and the conversion of AC input power into low-voltage DC power for a compatible LED load. The concept is useful when a project wants one wall-mounted control instead of a wall control connected to another power-supply unit elsewhere.
The phrase describes a system architecture, not a universal technical standard. Products from different manufacturers can use different input voltages, output types, control methods, wall-box formats and load limits. Buyers should therefore use “all-in-one” as a starting description and then check the exact product data.

Which functions are combined?
A typical integrated unit contains a user control on the front and a power-conversion section behind the wall plate. The front control changes the requested light level. The power section supplies the connected low-voltage lighting load.
